My current F-350 (89 XLT Lariat) doesn't have them. I had an 84 C&C and an 86 DRW Crew Cab that did have them. I like the look of them. However, they do add some additional places for the roof to leak.

Please, if you are going to add them
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ab-lights.html

The LMC lights and harness are JUNK in comparison to the Ford stuff.
Dou yourself a favor and get the ford harness(new or used) and get the lights from in that link

Be sure to read Brad's link there. If you don't do it right, you're going to have a lot of rust and water problems in short order.

yeah do it carefully and take your time. Measure twice times drill once. I helped my buddy but them on his Ranger. It was pretty easy but like I said we didn't hurry anything. He has never had a leaking problem. He thinks it was worth it and I'd agree too.

Ya the leaking part is what I'm worried about.along with the gasket I'm thinking small bead of silicone under gasket and maybe screws/bolts?.this is just a thought,....I really like them,to me it adds something to the truck.
