So, I'll start a thread for the '55 Big Job too. I have no history on it yet. It's in pretty good shape, and it does run. It has the 279 Lincoln truck Y-block in it, and the heavy duty 5 speed OD transmission. It's equipped with a factory tach, that functions. It has an aftermarket rear suspension conversion that equipped a "spring over beam" suspension with the 2-speed axle, and a tag. The four main axles are hydraulic brakes, with the tag being vacuum. Not much else to tell about it, except that it's in pretty good condition considering it's a working class truck, and the age. My dad has asked that I fix it up, and make it a reliable driver. It is currently number four on the list of priorities, as I have my '53 F-750ish truck, my dads '55 F-350 express pick-up, and sometime in the next couple of months, my moms '64 Falcon Futura Sport Hardtop.
