Looking for tall skinny tires

for my 2011 f250 4x4. I like tall skinny tires and am in desperate need for new tires the oem ones on there are horrible. Right now I have 275/65/18 which is right around 33" I would like something tall and skinny. Best I can find is 285/75/18 but I would prefer skinnier not wider. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try these: 37 x 12.5R 18LT Load D

Yokohama*Geolandar A/T-S

Tall and relatively skinny compared to tire height. You may have to get a lift though.

you could run 35 x 12.5R 18LT's on stock ride height I believe.

You could also find a set of 17'" wheels, Many more tire options for those.

Thanks yea 37's are to big dont want or need a lift. 35's yea that is what the 285/75/18's are that I have seen well 34.8 and the 285's are skinnier than the 35/12.5/18's. I ran 235/85/16 on my 04 and I want something simular for this one, except more in the 34-35" range because the tires on here are already bigger than was on the 04.

Or 255/85, tall & skinny. Don't think there is much of a selection to choose from anymore.

one of the critical criteria that I stick with is making sure it's an "E" rated tire.
This will narrow the search.
I find the 235/85/16 to be the tallest skinniest tire that's rated for a heavy duty 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks.

Not to nit pick, but the critical criteria is actually the Load Index, not the ply rating of the tire. D or E rated is less important than having a Load Index of 121 or higher. A tire with a 121 load index will cover the FGAWR and RGAWR of any F250/F350 SD pickup, regardless of year, wheel configuration, or sidewall ply rating.

thanks for the info. I never looked that close into it.
I've found that E tires resist punctures better. Especially beneficial going to the dump. But you never can tell what will also be on the highway towing a load out in the middle of nowhere.

Need e rated and did. I would have loved to have been able to go 235/85/16 I have a set of cooper M&S practically brand new sitting in my basement from my 04 and the set of rims, I also have a set of 255/85/16 sitting on my cruiser. But this truck takes a 18" rim. So I went with 275/70/18 firestone winter force, there about an inch taller and same width thats on there originally. I hate to buy snows this late in the season but got a good deal and we have another big storm comming in tomorrow so.............
