Good deal on coils and boots or too risky??

I saw a set of 8 coils and coil boots on ebay for $75.00. Good deal or should i just go to autozone?

Are you sure those will work with your truck? Many of the cheap F150 coils are different than what is needed for our expies, despite what is listed on the auction.

Aftermarket worked fine for me

I just purchased a set of 8 coils for $68 from this site and they came with warranty and everything.

I say go for it, I tried buying from the dealer and they wanted $90 per coil. I say even if you bought 2 coils sets you are saving 500 bucks. contact the guys I got my coils from, they gave me a warranty at no cost and they offer extended warranties. I ended up paying $68 for a set of 8 coils, they offered an extended warranty but I dont think I'll need it.

If the part numbers match get them. Keep a couple OEM coils in your storage area just in case.

OK, I'm torn about what coil packs to get for our 2008 Navigator.

The Accel ones are $229 on Amazon, and I like Accel's reputation and how long they've been in business, so I wasn't sure if they would be the best to get or some like the above. Anyone have experience with the Accel brand ones?

Thanks.

Well, bit the bullet and bought the Accel coils on Amazon for $218 for 8 and will install them over the weekend. I'll report back how they perform.

Just for the record, the Accel ones I got for ~$220 on Amazon are working perfectly.

The guy at the stealer who changed my plugs had never seen them before and was curious what they were. Must be a youngster.
