Gas tank remove

When dropping the rear tank on my 1993 f150 do I need special tools to remove the fuel lines from the pump. Also , with the rear tank removed will I be able to run on the front tank with no problems.
Thanks

Jerry

Unless you already have a set, you will need to go out and purchase a set of pliers to get those fuel lines off.

You'll be able to run on the front tank if you plug the lines to the rear tank. The front & rear tank lines are just connected with "Tees". Switching is done with valves in the fuel delivery modules...
