Been looking for a new truck for my dad. His 1990 7.3l is getting to be a PITA and always wanted him to get a 99-02.

Think we found one, but would like to get some info on its history. If anyone has access to an oasis, carfax, autocheck or anything like that, can you help us out?

google the VIN# and sometimes it will pull up a carfax or autocheck that a dealer has already run.

 

The dealer will do it. Just ask them to check if all recalls are up to date.

 

yeah. did a goog search, and it shows up in an insurance/salvage auction......

 

Ford OASIS only goes back 10 years, so the '03 model year would be the farthest back you could go right now.

Dang, Stewart, that is just like the loan companies now.

All the ones we use now have very strict terms of no more than 7 years old or no more than 75/100k.
