The LMC line looks correct to me. The line goes forward over the top of the gear box and then in towards the radiator, the hose then goes down and back and that goose neck lines up with the pump. I've converted mine to a saginaw, so the goose neck end has been removed, but you can see the gearbox line.

Last July I got second place at one of our local car shows. I was beat out by an 85 El Camino!

I have 2 more shows next weekend and then a break till next summer.
Congrats on that one Steve. I know it must be tough loosing first to a dolled up 'half breed' but if your fans could have influenced the judges at all, you would have taken the crown!

I'm liking the LED lighting updates. Did you loose the ability to dim or does that still work? Care to share the bulb number for those who want to copy your idea?

Thanks! I got the idea from another thread here on FTE. Here's the eBay link for the LED lights.

2X 43mm 12 SMD Rigid Loop White 1 73" 561 562 567 564 Rear Map LED Light Bulbs | eBay

The lens came from LMC Truck, about 5 bucks. Now that you mentioned it I didn't test the dimmer since I never use it, Living in the Burbs I never had to dim my lights.

Everyone who has a build/project truck goes through bad days and I'm no exception to the rule. I received a set of new Warn hubs and today I installed them and cleaned everything up, tested and FAIL! I took the caps off and discovered that I have the 35 spline instead of the 30.

I called Summit and they told me that once installed they wont take returns on hubs. After I pleaded my case that their website gave me the wrong part number the operator told me to clean them up and send them in for a refund. In the mean time I ordered another set so next weekend I get to do it all over again.

Then I decided to try to align my hood as it was off by a half inch by the cowling. (Yeah I know I'm being a perfectionist.) FAIL! I could not get the hood to align correctly. My hinges was an eBay find already powder coated. I came to the conclusion that I should have my ORIGINAL hinges powder coated and put them back on.

Lesson learned:
-Cross reference with all part numbers to be sure what you are ordering is the part that will fit your truck.
-Always use your original hood hinges whenever possible.

After it was all done I got a shot of good whiskey and called it a day.

Truck looks great as always Steve!!! Those unfortunate days just make us think of the good days when all the stars align and everything goes well.

Now, to the real question... What is your "go to" whiskey? I myself fancy Crown, Jameson and Pendleton. But lately, I have been very impressed with the Kirkland brand of blended whiskey, especially for the price ($20 for a 1.75L bottle).

Thanks to everyone for the kind notes.

I'm not a big whiskey drinker but I have RC and/or JD in the cabinet. I haven't tried the Kirkland brand should be pretty good as all Costco goods.

Should I really ask about Godzilla in the corner?
Good eye HIO! My daughters where in the garage while I was working on the truck and lending a hand while learning how to work on cars. My girls will not need a man to help them do things around the house or with cars when they grow up. They will know what to do. Anyway (Getting off topic) One of my girls was replacing the batteries on Godzilla, just outside camera view is the battery bins.
