There's usually a reason why that truck sat there for so long...I say that from experience. I bought a 2002 ford excursion new off the lot in late '02...it had over 1k miles on it and it was the last one there. I bought it anyway and later i found out why it sat for so long it has a defective frame that causes it to pull badly to the left. I took it to the dealer and as usual they didnt find anything wrong...I was so frustrated with it i didnt drive it for years. And that was back in '03 and i still have it with 3k miles on it. Moral of the story though a new vehicle thats been sitting for a while has a reason for sitting....I hope that helps

that wouldn't really bother me that much, my last truck sat on the lot for over a year before I bought it and the only problem I ever had with it was a bad starter that went out right away and an axle seal that went out at 70,000m.

right now the best deals are on the holdover '12's. My local dealer has a F250 XLT CC 4wd with the 6.2 and he has a tag in the front window for around $34k, I paid $30k for the '13 XL reg cab F250 4wd that I ordered last fall.
