Oh, yeah the only thing with the dual exhaust is that my Dads not sure if it will fit. He always used to have a dual exhaust on it and he actually still has it. The only thing is that I don't really like it 1: it doesn't look to good, its kind of rusted and bad looking, and 2: it lookes pretty small to me to like 2 inch or 2 1/4 inch. My Dads concern with the fitment is that it won't make it past the rear shocks that he put on it. So I guess I'll have to make sure that it will fit befor I buy anything. lol

Now its straight from the front cats back and its LOUD!! and all the chebby guys say that is the best sounding ford they've heard!
Yeah its already pretty loud I think. I like the way it is so I'm not sure what the longer pipe and possible mufflers would sound like. But yeah it will be something close to that.

Yeah unfortunately I'm in one of the few counties in Ohio, I think, that actually has emmissions testing, but since the truck is older I think I will be ok. I think what it is, is that if the vehicle is over 25 years old and hasn't been registered in a few years, you just have to get it checked once, and then if its over 25 your good forever I think. Or maybe if its old enough it might not have to be checked at all. I had thought about taking off the cat, and thought that I had read that it did give a good amount of performance when removed. So I will look into it. I will probably eventually start a thread on what exhaust combination I should go with. But thanks for your guys help.

if you start a thread on this they will say single in dual 2.5 out or one 3 inch all the way or on the lines of what i said. And all them would say put a high flow cat in there too!

Yeah I don't know about the cat. Yeah thats what I figured, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to spend the money or really need to on an exhaust quite yet but I might have to look into it. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but it sure looked small to me. I bet it did crackle a lot, and I hate that crackling noise on exhausts. Thats why I'm not too sure about taking off the cat, because I don't want to make it so loud that it starts to crackle or something. Now I think it has the perfect deep bad a$$ tone, and I really like it. So I'll have to find something similar, like I said maybe just a turn down off the cat.

Hopefully I can just take the cat off once I get it emissions checked, once if it needs to be. The only thing is that it is dual off the manifolds up until the cat, so I don't know how I'd put anything on it if I take off the cat unless I go to duals or something, but I could probably figure it out. Thats probably what they'd say but I might just go ahead with the thread sometime anyways, we'll see.

Yup, thats what I was thinking. But I'll figure out what I'm doing when the time comes. Exhuast will probably be the last thing that I worry about to get it on the road at least. Because really I could just drive it like it is now, and throw something cheap on it like from a junk yard or something for emissions check. I'll figure it out, eventually.

Haha, thank you. That's the plan. Hopefully it will get some attention. I like being different from, and I'd say that this truck is definitely different, and that my Dad did a great job on it. Now I get to add my personal touches.
