I have no complaints on my 300. In fact she carried my wife and I for the last 19 years without fail. When we were too poor to fix it she stayed the course. Only problem now is I have a 5th wheel that weighs about 5000 llbs and the six just doesn't do high end pulling like a V8 or Diesel. Your comparison above is the standard which IMHO the best pairing ever for the 6 and the E4OD is probably the most life sucking transmission they made hence my desire to get the 351.

So now. If any of you have a simular motor there are some subtle vacuum differences between mine and the 95 motor. I say 95 motor it actually came out of a 96 but since it was a 3/4 ton I believe it is a speed density. Mine has the coffee can on the fender well and the 351 has the big plastic vacuum box. Anyone got some pics of their motors they can post up to help get an idea what its supposed to look like. Alot of the vacuum lines to the fender were destroyed.
