Hey guys I'm in a bit of a jam here I need this truck to get to work again asap and all the searches I've done have come up with nothing useful. I need a wiring diagram for the entire tail light circuit from battery to light. The dealership is closed for the weekend but I need to get it on the road asap like I said. So if anyone can come up with a link to find one or any useful info I owe that person some beer. Thanks a million.

 

what is wrong? lights out??
they are all fused, in the engine bay fuse box. you probably have blown a few fuses.
our mason dump pops fuses all the time.

 

Tail lights only are out and blows the fuse in the cab immediatly when replaced. Just need to find a wire schematic.

 

I think you can get a 2 or 3 day subscription to motorcraft service and download what you need out of the service manuals.

 

Do you have a trailer towing harness on your truck? You might check to see if there is anything inside shorting the pins together. The brown wire is usually for tail lights. What you are describing is a dead short, so you could have a pinched wire, or something like snow jammed inside the plug for the harness.
