Question Measuring wheels for my 56 f100

Hello I am looking to buy some wheels for my 56 f100 and I have some doubts about the measures, and if not brushed somewhere.
I intend to put in front 15x7 "with 4" back space and 15x10 "with 4.50"back space, in the rear

I'm not sure on the offset. I'm running 17's on my truck. Front are 17X7 with 3.5" offset and I actually had to had put a .25" spacer plate on so I wouldn't rub. I've converted my brakes to disc, both front and rear, but I don't think that matters as far as offset goes. The rears are 17X10 with 4.0" offset and they come real close to the bed boards inside the wheels. With 10" rims on the rear, you may need wider fenders on the rear. I stretched my rear fenders 1.5". Depends on what tires you plan on running as well.

Perk56 wheels

Capelo,

My wheels are as follows, they look great and good clearance as well. I have front disc brake conversion and rear drums with 3 inch wider rear fenders.

Front - 15 x 8, 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern, 3 inch BS with 235/60R15 Firehawk Indy 500 tires

Rear - 15 x 10, 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern, 4 inch BS with 295/50R 15 Firehawk Indy 500 tires

Wheels were custom made for me at American Racing as Torq Thrust II

Good luck, Kevin

thanks for the comments, says it has modified the rear fenders with 3 "wide but I did not want to change anything, other question says it has a 5.5 bolt pattern.'s original measure is 5x5 1 / 2?

With the 15 x10 rims and tires on them they would not fit inside my wheel wells with stock fenders and I wanted the look that the wider wheels give so I changed the fenders to 3 inch wider ones. Right now there is about 1 inch of clearance from rubbing on inside of fender and also against frame side.

The stock brake drums are on the back and they have the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern so I ordered the front disc brake kit with the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern, as far as I know that is the original rear end so that is why I used it especially since it had 3.73 gears in it which works really well with my 1987 - 5.0 L HO engine from a Mustang and the AOD overdrive automatic I built for the truck.

Good luck, Kevin

My truck is a 50, so clearances will be different. What I will add is that I mounted 255/60/15 tires on 15x8 wheels for the back and they fit well. I don't know if they would fit on 15x10 rims very well (rims may be too wide - check with your tire store before ordering). I put 235/60/15 on the front.
