Are you guys running this Pipe with the Stock Intake Elbow or also changing it to an Aftermarket Unit ?

Im running the stock pipe, aftermarket intake elbow with both EGR Coolers Removed.

My stock boost gauge now pegs out to 40 psi on hills.

Does this aftermarket pipe normally Increase boost pressure a little ??

My Flo-Pro cold side intercooler pipe is on the way. I hope it helps with some of the turbo spooling and EGTs while towing heavy. Doesn't look like it would hurt anything. But this is why I asked the question in another thread yesterday about swapping out to better intercooler boots. Wondering who has the better boots?!

The aftermarket pipe won't add any boost but the idea is to increase the air flow over the stock smashed pipe which is supposed to increase throttle response. I don't recall gaining anything when I installed mine. Should have done 0-60 testing.

The one I ordered is a Flo-Pro, but MBRP has one as well. 2008-10 6.4L Ford Powerstroke Intercoolers / Hoses Take a look at the middle of the page, you can see both of them there.
Oh and by the way, they are T304 Grade polished stainless.
