You will have to change the Y pipe under the engine. Not sure about the computer, but probly have to change it too. If you get a complete 351 out of a 93 or newer, most if the sensors and accessories are the same. You will need the 351's flexplate or flywheel too, the one from the 302 will not work on a 351

A mustang 5.0 will work, you need to strip it to the bare longblock and install the truck intake, timing cover and water pump, oilpan and pickup, and accessory brackets and miscellaneous parts. It would be a good idea while you have it torn down to install a new timing set and if you do that make it an adjustable set and install it 4deg advanced to get a little more low end torque.

This only depends on what year 302 it is. The 86-93 Mustang 302's used the same timing cover and waterpump as the trucks. I think the accessories are if not the same, similar to the trucks for those years.

Yes. Basically the only difference between your 93 truck long block and an 87 HO motor is the pistons and the cam. Your 93 has a roller cam, but it's the "base" roller with a different firing order and less lift and duration. The 87 HO would have forged pistons, your 93's would be cast or hypereutectic, same piston, different material. Everything else is the same (block, heads crank, rods, etc) Should even be the same distributor too. Your 93 may have a knock sensor in the back of the block behind the intake where the HO motor would not.
