47 1/2 ton G series 6 cyl. Generator Pulley

Has anybody pulled the pulley on the generator and used it on a alternator? I'm not sure it would fit or even how to pull it off. I'm having a real tough time finding a double 5/8" pulley for a alternator. Thanks for the help Brad

I ended up using a double 1/2" instead for the same reason. So far, so good...

Changing to 12v did you change to neg ground
