Would one from a 78 work by any chance? I'm not familiar with the earlier trucks.

You won't find a Dana 60 rear axle in an F350 until 1979 and then only in F350 4WD's.

Some 1961/62's, all 1963/78's and 1979 F350 2WD's came with Dana 70's.

1953/66 F350's have 6 lug wheels on a 7.25" bolt circle. 1967/98 F350's have 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle.

And, make sure the 60 has a 6.50" bolt circle. Some 1963/69 F100's (5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle) came with the optional Dana 60.2 or 60.3 ~ NOT the same as a Dana 60!
