Ohio "think spring" BS thread
I know its not spring yet, but in a blink of an eye it will be!
I'm ready for it, chickens are starting to lay good, I picked up 30 more hens on Monday. I now have 75 chickens!
Still keeping the fire going ( thanks again for the wood Brian)
Any upcomming events? I know spring Columbus is usually the first weekend of April.

Not much going on, other then Stark County swap meet is first March, then Columbus.
Had thoughts of putting Mack in Piston Power show(our truck club is still part of it), but not sure I want to. Had wagon in a year ago, but it's in pieces waiting on motor. Parts are near all in for that and will be coming together in next few weeks.
Had the bike running last weekend, didn't ride, but warmed it up. Same with lil Blue. Ran it til fans kicked on and played with it for a while. Got the blood pumping.
Tic, tic, tic...........

Well I guess I'll go ahead and post in here. Well Friday I went to finish cleaning my truck. Prior to that I had fully washed it, clay barred it, and put the the first step of Mothers wax system on it. It was covered, so I didn't have to redo all of that. So, on Friday I put the second and third step of the wax system on it so I got a full coat of wax on it except for the hood becuase its in pretty bad shape and is not ready for wax. I also put protectant on the all the exterior plastics and polished most of the chrome. I got a lot done and the truck looks great now for the most part. Tomorrow I am going back to finish the interior, chrome, windows, and wheels. It should be a good day.

My Dads never driven it with the current lift and tire combination on it either. What he did was did a whole bunch of stuff to it and then ran out time to work on it. So it has been sitting in his shop for about 20 years. His plan was to show it at auto shows, but he never fully finished putting it back together. But I hope to have it back on the road within a couple months.

Hmmm, that gives me an idear..........LOL!! Might be worth it since they gouge you so bad up there for parking. Just gotta bundle up real tight.
Don't look like the Mack or race car is making the P-P show. Car is in a bunch of pieces and the truck is nestled in for it's winter nap. The truck club was hassling me to get the truck there. Too much of a hassle for me actually. No way to get home after I drop it, then have to get back up to get it on Sunday. Ugh. All for a free burger on Thursday night at the show?
Buddy was window shopping at local dealership. Simple 1/2 ton truck is near $50K, little cars are $35K. The fancy dancy trucks are near $60K. Bejeezus..........that's a ton of money. How do people do it today??
