Does anyone know what if or any other year model rolling chassy will work with a 62 body? I was wondering if maybe a 70's/80's f100/150 would work. If it would then maybe I could get my ifs and tilt/power system for it in the package. Or is this just wishfull thinking?

No bolt up chassis after 64. Now should you be a talented cuss, plenty of tools & shop to piddle in there is no reason that you can't pull off a complete makeover.

Do run it by your states DMV to see what will be needed to put tags on it when complete. Better you should know than have an oh sheet moment because you didn't.

What John said. The DMV is the controlling factor here. Here in WI they are pretty lax on stuff like this, but your mileage may vary.

You can do it, providing you have enough time, tools and money.
