2005 V10 engine ticking only 70k miles?

Hello guys, I haven't been on here in a while.
So heres my history with my 2005 F250 V10
I ordered it in January 2005, I only mostly used it for long trips the first few years never pulled anything.
I change the oil every 4 months most of the time less than 1500 miles on the oil. Have been using full synthetic Motorcraft Filter
A few weeks ago I started the engine and heard a ticking that varies with RPM, I barely hear it with the windows up.
So I changed the plugs, though they might be lose...not the case, looked at the exhaust manifolds for broken bolts found one passenger side top front.
I took it to 3 shops none waned the job? so I did it myself took 14 hours including clean up. Got the rest of the 9 out without breaking and the broken one was below the head so I used the welding nut trick, took a few times "Haven't welded in about 2 years" replaced all the studs and gasket. Started her up ya still ticking.
So i dont know what else to do, I was going to being it in to see if's its a lifter or cam phaser?
The truck is in great shape, and runs strong...I haven driven its in about 10 days.....I did drive it once the day I heard the ticking about 10 minutes 5 miles.
Appreciate the help...Gage

Hope you got it fixed. I've been looking at 08 f250 with the 3v v10. They don't have the v8 cam phasers. I haven't seen anything about lifters except on the v8. I assUme ford used the same lifters across the 3v modular motors so it's probably a possiablity.

Low mileage, but still 18-years old. Probably a blown timing chain tensioner seal and the timing cover is getting rubbed by the chain.

You catch it early, maybe you get away with tensioners and guides. But, full out timing job would be better.

There are a lot of knock offs on Ebay. Would think that ford would keep them a quality product. Save a penny to have to warranty a motor replacement doesn't make sense to me.

From what I read here in the last week the motorcraft FL8320S (99 V10 filter) is No more. Its now a new number FL2122 . Supposedly it no longer has bypass capabilities but has a metal center tube and metal end caps.

Well I did get my trcu back...
It was 2 of the rockers that went bad and messed up the cam passenger side...No more ticking..
That was $$$$ when it was in the shop I was looking at new trucks...65K was the cheapest I found with all the fees .....For an F250 about 85K up to 110K?
