F250 Camper Special siting in MN

Don't know if I should post this here, but thought I should get the info out...

Last weekend on Saturday (5-24-03) while driving to my cabin in northern Minnesota, I saw a Semi transporting a dozen or so smashed up cars/ trucks on one of those long car carrying trailers... I was watching it go by when to my suprize the very last vechile on the trailer was a F250 camper special (guessing a 1977) - two tone corn yellow/white - nice truck with texas plates - looked all original - even my wife uttered a "whoa... look at that one baby...". We were about 50 miles south of St. Cloud Minnesota at the time...

I proceeded to speed up so that I could get a good look at it. Spend the next 10 or so miles passing/slowing down, switching from lane to lane to get a good look at it - it was BEAUTIFUL! And it was on the "upper" shelf of the trailer - so I could get a good look at the underside - real nice...

On my last pass I noticed something that made my heart sink and my spine shiver... The hood of this beautiful truck was slightly underneath the box/tail of the Chevy pickup truck in front of it - not a problem - usually, but I did notice that the exhaust pipe of the chevy was hitting the hood of the ford on the passenger side when he semi would go over a bump... I watched it for a long time - I'd say that the pipe would hit the hood twice or so every minute.

So - if anyone jsut took delivery of a nice camper special from texas up in the northern part of minnesota - you have an eye witness to how the damage was done to the truck in route...
