.... Thats rediculous, I was told monday.... I understand you are not in the middle of everything urban, but 3-4days late isnt acceptable.... USPS is convenient for me with my time schedule, but if my packages arent being delivered on time, its of no use, and I will go to UPS...
Sorry man, hopefully you get the package tomorrow.

Thanks for the update. I wonder if he ended dropping that engine in the F250 then? That kind of stinks that he hasn't been on in a while though. It leaves you hanging on build threads. Lol

that is a shame
such a promising build
centurion was a conversion build
spliced bodies of the F-250 & bronco (8 lug)
or
spliced bodies of the bronco & F-250 (5 lug)
this one was the real deal .. these were pretty rare
and more so now .. for the same reason
as this build was aborted
the 2 truck halves were welded together and seamed
with copious amounts of body filler 'bondo'
nothing wrong with that .. but someone thinks it looks
okay with just a little rust .. they dig deeper .. and more
rust .. and alot of custom body work in 'plastiq' that they
are unfamiliar with and can't duplicate ..
unfortunately he probably cut into it pretty deep before
realizing he was in over his head .. hope this thing got saved
before it hit the crusher ..
and that pallet of goodies was put to good use elsewhere

ahhh .. that's pretty cool that IDIoit is building one of these .. i didn't see that thread .. will have to look around
i also am thinking of doing something along the lines of a half way going centurion with a home brew topper made from cutting off the back of a bronco where the 'cab flare' area is .. that mates to the topper .. then making a separate extension forward to make the gap to the cab .. while retaining the gap itself .. somewhat like a more traditional topper .. but with style .. really a single cab removable centurian topper fusion ..
reason is .. i would like to have a 'van' for cargo space when needed on the job .. but i don't wan't to buy a van if i can avoid it .. it would be a pita to work on the motor .. a homebrew removable 'half centurion' topper would provide protection from rain and theft .. while still looking more stylish then just a plain old topper .. and would sure get alot of looks from ford guys
