with the plastic tanks and 320000 mi these rads are cheap enough new is the only option i could consider for me. most rad shops at least around here dont want to mess with the plastic tanks anyway.

No pics of mine sorry, my damage is at the bottom where the fins meet with the plastic and is about 4 rows wide. Truck gets to sit for a little until I find the time to fix it. Will probable NOT be putting the fan back on.

Been there, dealt with that! On my old IDI, started her up one day and i guess she decided she didnt need it because a clunk and a bang and a few gallons of coolant later-there was the fan, at the bottom of the engine bay lol.

cool, no fan needed. thats weight reduction and more room to work under the hood.

no issues without a fan?
