Front end issues

So I finally got my bumper brackets today and got to it. Fender flare and bumper aren't the same and header panel is wobbly and and the gap between the grille and the hood is bad. Sorry for the bad writing but my head is killing me.

Went out and messed with it this morning and have the bumper on... now my issues are:

bumper is about an inch past the fenders on BOTH sides

BIG gap in the grille and hood

BIG gap in between the headlight/grille/bumper where they all meet

Will post more pics up in a few hours

Oem or aftermarket parts? I know some headlights r made to fit the pre 05 grilles that have a slight curve to them where they meet the grille. Can see ur pics to good on my phone but that could be that gap. Also, the 05 grille sticks out further than the pre 05 grilles.

It's an 01 swapping to the 05 front end. I used all new aftermarket header panel, bumper, and plastic upper and lower plastics. The grille and emblem are OEM and the headlights are ebay harley knockoffs. Taking pics of it now.

There are several upgrade threads, minor trimming
Is required to get good fit with oem parts.
Not sure what would be required with aftermarket.
I think sammie did this recently, check back a week or so in threads

Sammie might chime in with some pointers.

boy that is a terrible fit, maybe you can space it closer by stacking washers behind the mounting points see if that brings it closer togeather maybe?

So this is 100% a fitment issue and not an install issue right?

It looks that way. The top bumper pad looks too wide.
