Anyone have any suggestions on what to do. I have a 1959 F100 with a steel floor box. Well the floor is in need of replacement. I want to say steel. I'm sure lots of people have done this, but what floor did they use, and where did they get it?
I'm subscribing to this thread since I've got a similar problem, except I only want to patch the front ~6" inches and then go up the front wall about 3" or so. Haven't seen anyone do it.
Its the front 6" on mine as well as about the first 3 on the wall too, but since I need this I thought the rest of the box should get some love as well or I might just be delaying the issue later on and have to do the rest
Yeah fortunately mine isn't that bad, just a little rotted for the first inch or so and then soft for the next inch or so. After I patch it I'll be lining the whole thing.
They do make patch panels for the bed, just noodle around the net and you will find them. I think Mac's carry them but I haven't checked. Your front bed cross brace might be a little suspect as well.
