Rotor & Pad Installation

Somewhere I have seen a pictorial of brake installation on a 4X4 Ex, can't find it now. Does anyone have a link to that thread????

Not sure I have ever seen that thread. Do you have a question about the procedure we can answer? I used to work in brake shop (many moons ago), and I just finished getting very intimate with my front hubs and axle. All very fresh on my mind!

Pretty easy, just do it. No need to take the caliper off.
Rotors too?.........still easy.

Here ya go. Pictures and all. Check out his write up about the slide pins also. Good idea to check them out and make sure they slide nice.
The first time I worked on the front end I just ordered the new upgraded pins he has the part numbers for.

Thanks, that looks like the instructions I saw before. I wasn't really looking for how to do it but for any nuiances that might pop up. I changed the front yesterday and it was pretty straight forward.

Nothing to it. I use a C clamp and old pad to squeeze the pucks in and it could overflow the master cylinder.
