chassis swap question

Hey guys I found a 63 f250 4x4 with a rusted body. I was wondering if the body off my 66 f250 2 wheel drive would bolt directly on the 63 chassis?
Thanks,JW

It won't bolt directly on, mounts are different.

Not a little difference a lot. radiator support inner fenders cab step and battery because the frame is taller and no wheel hump at rear axle

Thanks guys. Any idea what frames would work? I was told that 78-79 are pretty easy swaps. what about 67-77? or am I stuck trying to find a 65-66?
Thanks, JW

JW, I believe the 65-66 4wd might work, 2wd no. Garbz (username here) or number dummy should be able to lay it out correctly.

FYI 2wd: In 65 Ford introduced the Twin I-beam and kept it the same through 79. Cab floors, firewalls, and most all below the chassis front is bolt hole exchange. That is why many of us run power steering & disc brakes under our Slicks.

The 64 back 2wd are in a different world.

Thanks guys. Think i'm just going to leave the F250 alone, and look for a 61-66 4x4. Then ill have two cool machines. I have two kids, so that should work out great. Or do I need three? That sounds better yet. More truck justification.
Thanks, JW
