He's all about securing everything in his truck but ask him about the fuel stop soon after we left Doc's place and the two guys came out and had the hose in the tank before he could get around the truck. Scared him to death, hell thats just the way it's done in Kentucky, everyones nice in Doc's world.

That's the way it's done in Oregon, but not because of niceness. It's illegal to pump your own gasoline, only attendants can.

Well soooorry! Up here is some come near your car it just ain't right. I guess it must take two guys to put gas in your vehicle down there.

Hey, just for the curious, the truck in the original post is listed on eBay:

Ford : Other pickup in Ford | eBay Motors

Be warned, it one of the rattiest of rats. I hate rat rods.

I think Doc really needs that "truck" It's only a short 2 1/2 hour drive from you. You know you want it.

No thanks! I'll pass. Believe it or not, I actually do a handful of house calls. That thing wouldn't agree with any driveway around here.

But check out this picture and look at the rides up on the hill in front of that cool building. It might be worth a look just to see that stuff.

Doc, if you go you have to take your buddy with you. I'm sorry but I don't remember his name, he's the guy with the general store and sturdy wife who packs heat, he drives that pretty Chevy, if there really can be one. He was a blast to talk to and seemed like the "Good Ol' Boy" I'd expect to be running shine in the mountains.

Only $5250 starting bid. Doc you need it.
That is the ride height as well. "It does Not raise up form its ride height. The fenders and boards are 1 inch, the frame and suspension are normal ride height. IT DOES DRAG ON ANY HIGH SPOTS, but THATS WHAT WE BUILT IT FOR. " That thing will drag on an uneven road, let alone high spots.
Crazy!

Why did the line "Lord help me Jesus" from a Kris Kristopherson song go thru my head when I saw the photo?
