08 expedition locking mech hatch

So here goes i got a funky thing going on. i work in a shop have access to wiring diagrams but theyre all garbage. i got this 2008 ford expedition police cruiser with a hatch that wouldnt open i got it open by jumping the green white wire.with 12 volts that goes to door actuator. keep in mind manual hatch. the glass button near lic plate opens glass no problem if doors unlocked but its like theyres no signal from the door locks to the actuator in trunk to unlock hatch it self. i replaced the lock/actuator in trunk. i also hooked my probe to the hand switch it grounds when you pull handle. i wont lie ive researched alot feeling pretty dumb any help would be appriciated.

what ive found is the handle will only open door if i give straight voltage to the green/white wire that goes to door lock actuator in trunk as soon as i kill juice it goes bck to locked position its odd.
