Yesterday, Dad needed emergency surgery to repair bleeding from av fistula site.
Fortunate for him and all of us, I was in the room and able to apply pressure while calling for help! Blood was flowing like a running faucet.
Literally within seconds his room was filled with nurses and other professionals including the surgeon who did the original fistula surgery.
They were able to stabilize the bleeding before transferring to surgery. He is now in PICU and was given 3 units of blood.

Mornin' Big guy.
What's causing the problems with the Fistula site? It seems as tho that has been a real problem from the beginning.
My prayers go towards his recovery. And the well being of your family through all of this
17* here this morning. Wood stove burned out during the night, so 52* in the house..... Just a bit nippy, eh?
