Morning Indiana and all of our IN friends!
Well I know it has been a while since I've swung thru here...been working on our master bathroom remodel...making slow progress...should get the rough in plumbing done in the next couple of weeks (my travel schedule is really putting a damper on progress)...all the plumbing fixtures should be here this week or next...
Speaking of plumbing...we're going with a hand held fixture, a rain head and 3 body sprayers all hooked up to a water valve and 6 way diverter...
I'm in the progress of laying out the tile so I can set the height of the fixtures I want to land in the "accent" band in the shower...I also have to lay out the area to mount the shampoo niches. I need to figure out a couple of little details (I do focus on these little details which will make the job look perfect...I'm worried down to about 1/4" type details on grout lines and where they will fall with respect to wall features, etc right now...planning, planning, planning)...on that but I'll get the rough in plumbing done here shortly...man are those valves and fixtures salty!...LOL...
I got the new ventilation fan installed and wired...man is it quiet...I put in a 110 CFM fan that is only 0.3 sones loud...you can barely hear it running!
I'll also be putting in an under tile radiant heating system since there will be so much tile in that room...winters with bare foot will be hard...
Well today we'll be hosting our 17th annual Daytona 500 party...in a few hours 40+ folks will be here enjoying the race and each others company...and lots of my jokes about Danica being on the "pole" and god forbid she gets in a wreck...I can use the ole' "boy Danica sure took a hard lick there" line!!!...LOL
Okay...I've got the stromboli dough rising in the oven and a few other tid bits going...will have to get the final stuff done...but we're looking forward to it!
I fly to SoCal tomorrow morning...and then this week I get to fly from LAX to DC for a Friday meeting and I don't land back home until Friday about 10pm...only to fly back to SoCal on Sunday at 7am!!!...oh joy!
