My wife is going to be going to Murfreesboro next week and she is looking for a hotel that is decent (fairly cheap) and would be safe for her and another female to stay.. She is going to be going to the Embassy Suites for a conference and would prefer something close to that.. Anyone know of some where that would be ideal???

There are some new hotels there on Thompson Lane between Old Fort Parkway and Medical Center Parkway which is where the Embassy Suites is located. It is near the Avenue shopping center and nice restuarants.

Any hotel along the Medical Center Pkwy or Hwy 96 exits are very nice. While they are in the area, Stones River National Battlefield right there. I recommend it.Also, the Embassy Suites and the Avenue shopping center actually sit atop one of the main Confederate battle lines. She may get to see a ghost, I've heard much of the Avenue is haunted for that very reason...

Thanks guys.... We're actually here now.. We got here last night and we love it.. We ended up staying at the Embassy.... It is amazing!!! Going to hit up some shopping before the conference!!!
