1988 ford f250 problems
hello all, i am new to this site looking for some dio help with my truck
about the truck; 1988 ford f 250 302 (5.0) for the most part stock has cold air intake msd coil ngk plugs and accel wires with 224,xxx miles on it.
the problems i am having are and just started is while driving the truck it chuckles like its got a miss fire or a fuel issue and it does it in park as well but when you put it into neutral it runs just fine and u can rev it up to 4k and its smooth.
it has a single tank with 2 pumps high flow and low flow and both pumps where replaced back in 2010 along with the timing chain/cover, both fuel and ignition relays
im a mechanic and know how to work on vehicles but this truck of mine has got me at a loss here on whats wrong with it. any help would be great thank you

First thing to come to mind was an EGR malfunction.
If the truck is laughing maybe it's just happy....
I'm assuming it runs rough.
Also, how's the ignition - cap/rotor, plugs, wires, etc?
Regulators sometimes rupture and send fuel back through the vacuum line. Pull the line and see if it's wet with gas. Then, check the fuel pressure. 30's at idle with the vacuum line on, mid 40's with it off. If the pressure checks out and it's not ruptured it's not likely your problem.
