lightning exhaus

i just switched my mac exhaust and cold air intake from my 02 lightning to the 03 i am buying and i swear it made the 02 faster and the 03 slower, the dealer is giving me two days to decide if i want the stock setup replaced, any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the computer and see how it does after 100 miles (ie, relearn the baseline).
