Cool !!!
Did you order the hardware too ?
I may look into this piece for mine ( even though it's 4WD ) I imagine it's there for aerodynamics and I wonder if it would help with fuel economy. I noticed it on a few 4WD F150's in the last couple of days.
Yeah I did order all of the hardware as well...Did you see the part on that website???...I went ahead and registered on the site because it has a lot of helpful info...
Yup, I found the part/diagram you listed on "FordParts.com".
It looks exactly like the one I found for the F150, just with a slight variation in part number #6N634B instead of your #6N634A. Probably the same piece though.
OK,here are the part #'s........BL3Z-6775-A (Shield),----W712334-S442 (Nut x2),----W711375-S439 (Stud x2),----and N811733-S439 (Nut- clip type x2)'------ Picked 'em up today, put 'em on tomorrow!!!!
What's interesting is if you run that number on Tasca Parts site it comes up as fitting 2011 F150's with a build date up to 3/23/11 and then if you change the last letter to a "B" it fits from 3/24/11. And as if that wasn't strange enough the MSRP price goes from $45.75 down to $28.13 for the newer ones. I wonder what the difference is.
By the way no mention of it fitting an Expedition so hopefully it's just a glitch in there system.
Cool.....Just noticed that the pic that MTONDREO posted shows that it is held in place with two bolts while what is listed is for two double sided studs that are 10MM and the exposed part(it's got a Torx head on it),is about 2" long and uses a nylock type nut----Just seems like a little over-kill...Not complaining,Guess Ford thinks its going to get knocked around a bit....
OK,...DON'T go order the stud part # because it has to be some kind of error in Fords' cataloging...There is abosolutely no reason to have a stud to mount the spoiler...Also you will have to drill a hole big enough to fit the "J" type nut up into the frame...You can fish a nut up through the frame but it will be difficult to hold it to tighten it...It's dark outside right now,so I will take some pics of it tomorrow and show what I did to make it work
