F150 Super Crew Jack Storage

I have a 2010 F150 Super Crew, the jack is stored under the rear seat, does anyone know of a manufacturer who can make a locking cover for the opening of the jack storage compartment? Thanks

None that I am aware of. I am curious as to why you want to lock the jack storage compartment. It is so well hidden I had to consult the manual to find it.

not to pry, but what kind of personals are you trying to lock up? I have a lock box that is tethered to one of the back seat supports by a steel cable for my pistol when i have to leave it in my vehicle. here is a link.

HANDGUN SECURITY BOX | Brownells

there are a few different sizes to choose from as well as manufacturers if you look around.

Hope this helps,

Q.

Thanks! I have a similar lock box as well used for the same purpose. The storage area is well hidden and thought that someone would have designed a lockable cover.

Welcome to the board.

Maybe you need to design and market one???

IF a person had another place to stow the jack etc. that would be a nice security feature.

That's crossed my mind! :-). I'm drawing up the plans now. I have a friend who is a "shop" teacher. Since the jack is stored on the passenger side, it leaves plenty of room for other items. Lets see.....
Thanks

Another thought would be to make one for the other side... Then no need to reposition the jack.
