Cold start all the time

When my truck has sat overnight or for a few hours in the day and I go to start it, it has a hard time staying running. If i rev it up and hold it for a minute then it will idle normally and warm up. It reminds me of a cold start in the morning. The difference here is that is is almost 100 degrees and it does it in all temperatures. It never used to have problems starting until recently. Any ideas??
