1990 F250 4x4 dual tanks. While changing my rear tank the fuel supply line broke. I have one ordered but will be about a week to get here. In the mean time the truck will not start even though the front tank has fuel. I assume there is a pressure switch that will not let the truck start with a broken line. Is there a way to bypass this so I can uas the truck until I get the new rear lines?
Thanks Much

That is very strange padutch because currently my rear tank is completely out of my truck and I'm waiting to buy a new one. I use my front tank with no problem. My guess is that your switching valve is still working off of the rear tank. Even though it is swiched at the dash it is trying to get fuel from the rear tank and cannot. That is my guess anyhow. It may be an electrical problem. Switch or valve.
