Overhead console light not working
The read out light on my overhead console (the read out that tells the awesome fuel mileage Im getting) isnt working, and hasnt been since I got my excursion a month ago. Thats the only thing on it that doesnt work and was wondering if it could be a bulb, or is this a common problem and if so whats the fix?

2002 XLT Ex with full console map lights not working
2002 XLT Excurison with full console (temp controls, map lights, storage bays, etc), not the same as picutred in this thread. It appers the thin contact film where the bulbs attach has broken.
Any thoughts or steps to fix would be greatly appreciated.

I have read the tutorial/thread several times, but where I am stuck is, after I remove the first 2 tension clips, I don't know what 2 "L" shaped clips he is talking about. And the thread is older and the pics no longer work. Anyone have a better description of pics of said "L" clips inside storage compartment? Thanks
EDIT: Nevermind, I found in another thread that some of the newer Excursions have a screw in the storage compartment instead of the clips.

First is to put those two pieces back in a line and fix them with super glue.
If this is dryed you paint some layers of electrical paint over those 2 pieces.
You get this paint for a couple of bucks on ebay, usually marked as repair kit
for rear window defroster.
