F250 coil springs and driving

I have some f250 coils to put under the front of my 88 f150. My question is- how bad is driving the truck before getting the alignment done. My tires are pretty old so I'm not worried about premature wear on them. Just didn't know how bad handling would be or if anything else would be dangerous. It might be a few weeks before I could do the alignment.

If you're just swapping coils the alignment shouldn't be much different unless your stock ones are completely hammered. The camber is all it could potentially affect, and it'd just wear down your old tires unevenly.
