Batteries keep going dead since FuelBowl R&R?
A month or two ago I removed the fuel bowl, cleaned the fpr, and everything else, replaced the ipr, and reinstalled everything on my plow/wood hualer truck, a 97 psd. After sitting a couple weeks, plugged in, the batteries were totally dead. I replaced the batteries it seemed fine, now today the new batteries are totally dead also! It has been about two weeks since I started it, but it has been plugged in. Any thoughts?

no the block heater is only powered by the house power. nothing else is on.
look at the link i posted and you remove 1 fuse at a time till draw stops.
If no help when pulling fuses, unhook power cable on alternator and if draw not there then the diode in alternator is bad but it still charges when running

Ok cool, I'll check it out thanks.
Also, I forgot to mention, it seems that both times both sets of batteries went dead, it was when it was plugged in, it sat about two weeks after I put the new batteries in it not plugged in and a week ago I plugged it in just for a few hours it started right up, plowed a couple hours, parked the truck, plugged it in, and now a week later, dead again. also today, with it plugged in, I could hear some noises from around the bottom of the bowl area that seemed to quiet then quit once I unplugged the truck. It was just kinda a odd noise I haven't ever noticed before.

Well I started to check the truck out today to try figure out where the battery draw is coming from, using the battery drain test that was linked in this thread, but I only made it as far as the major short step since I had 12.9 ohms when I check between the battery cables. Any suggestions on finding this short?
