97 F600 Cummins into 97 F250?

Hello, quick question. I think there are people out there that have done this similar swap, but which is easier/more cost effective. I have a 94 5.9 Cummins already, but have heard that I have to go same year or newer to get certified by state (AZ-going gas to diesel). I came across a guy that has a 97 F600 5.9 Cummins. Any info on these? I am not a heavy tower, like to have a little life in the go pedal, but mainly get better mileage from my 4x4 to be able to road trip with it a bit more.

Thanks, Shawn

They wont let it fly, if they inspect the swap. The engine came from a med duty truck, and the emission sticker will say that. You would have to have an emission tag from a Dodge to be legal. Plus the fact of needing to be same year or newer engine.
