Duh! I fogot about the LED's

I was out the other day running errands untill dark, I noticed that I was getting way more hi fives, waves, and finger pointing than usual and couldn't figure out why. I thought maybe I was getting a flat tire or something was falling off the truck. It wasnt till I got home and got out to manualy open the garage door (since I misplaced my door opener) that I realized that I had completetly forgotten that I put blu LED's under the running baords, and under the hood. Duh! It was the first time I had seen it at nite, its different anyway, not like the long tubes Ive seen. I was inspired by Dale's "Ol Yeller" but his is really cool, mine? I took this pic tonight at dusk.

Be careful with those. The CA vehicle codes says that you can't have any red or blue lights on a vehicle, except for emergency vehicles.

Otherwise, they look cool!

Yep, I bought some aftermarket side mirrors for my S10 for 10% of OEM replacements. They came with blue LEDs to hook up to your turn signals. It was easier to hook them up to the parking lights. One of the wires pulled out, but the functional one got my daughter pulled over. As it was my fault, I had to cough up the $100 fine. It didn't take me long to disconnect the other one.

I'd still keep them. Just don't go overboard when using them.

Not so sure about the running board lights but that blue glow from the engine bay looks awesome!

Good looking truck Jim. I'm with aussiecowboy, the glow from the hood is cool.

This thread reminds of when I lived in San Diego. There was a pizza joint called New York Pizza Delivery. They delivered their pizzas in cars that looked like cop cars, NYPD on the doors and a fake light bar on top. Even though it didn't light up, law enforcement made them remove it.
