1967 Turbo 6.9 is starting off with a positive reputation.
1977.5 lowboy auxiliary gas tank?

I've done a few search's and not found My answer.
Did the 4x4 trucks use a smaller auxiliary gas tank or was it mounted farther back?

D7TZ-9002-C .. Mid-Ship Plastic Fuel Tank / 24.8 gallon capacity / Use with Evaporative Emission.

1977 F250 4WD w/133" wheelbase from serial number Y40,001 / 1978 F150/250 4WD w/133" wheelbase / 1979 F150/350 4WD w/133" wheelbase.

D7TZ-9002-D .. Mid-Ship Plastic Fuel Tank / 26.3 gallon capacity / Use without Evaporative Emission.

1977 F250 4WD w/133" wheelbase from serial number Y40,001 / 1978 F150/250 4WD w/133" wheelbase.

1977/78 4WD Crew Cabs used different mid-ship tanks. 1977/79 4WD Crew Cabs were also available with aft axle tanks.
