Stopped by the CB in the Falls, Bob, and bought one of the last ones there. I'm sure they'll be gone by tomorrow - if not, the manager said they would hide any that were still available when you stopped. Just trying to help.

I was just down at Fleet Farm, I don't have any spare change right now to pick on up. I'm waiting for a customer to respond to a batch of quotes I submitted to him on Friday. It's been a little dry, workwise for the last month. That's why I have time to mess around with making cartoons.

 

That is laugh out loud funny Bob! I was laughing so loud my wife had to come check on me.

 

Dang, all this talk of grits so I had to go fix a bowl. Opened a can of little fishes, put a big gob of butter on the grits and mmmmmmmmmmm, good.

 

So that is two drive-bys Bob - I was at Fleet this morning buying Grade 8 bolts by the pound for the eventual reassembly of my front-end.

We're in Virginia visiting with my daughter. On our way to her house, we spied a Cracker Barrel in Manassas and stopped for dinner, since the traffic was bad.

As we were leaving, I asked the guy at the counter if they had any old Ford truck signs, and he led me to the corner where they had only ONE left. The price tag on it was $30, but he looked at the 40% discount chart on the wall, and said "That'll be $17.99". I said SOLD!

Luckily, we brought 2 suitcases with my daughter's things which will now not be empty on the return flight. One of them will have a '48-'50 F1 sign in it. That's going to look great in my garage. I just have to figure out where to hang it...

Well, I haven't seen a sign with the correct grill, so this one will do just fine.
