Motor

[QUOTE=fordman75;12731653]Are those lights or just reflectors? Are those the vintage version of the reflective triangles used for break downs? Or are they some kind of load lights or something? Either way it's a cool find.

Sounds like a good plan. You've got a nice pair of trucks there. You've got a great start for one cool fleet of vintage stake bed trucks!

No problem on the help. It can be tricky to figure out at first. Once you've figured it out it gets much simpler.

What's the 56 got under the hood

312 y motor I think
312 y motor? Maybe a 292 need to drop pan to confirm that

Shrink it down with your favorite editing program, then go to UserCP (control panel) at the upper left of the forum. Select Edit Avatar, pop it in there.

Hello Chris,

I re-sized your photo for you. Go to User CP and you can upload it by clicking on 'Edit Avatar'.

Then go to 'Edit Your Details' and scroll down to the 'Additional Information' section. In 'Location-Where you live' type in a general location. This will also show up in all your posts so members have an idea where you are.

Then if you go to 'Edit Signature' you can type in your name and a link to your build page. This too will show up in all your posts.

Cheers

Engine and fuel tank

Look to replace with a aluminum tank polished ?
I called some tank company's and they seed it was not legal to have fuel tanks with gas out side of your frame rails.
If I have one already do you think I can get a way with it?
I still have the one in the cab behind the seat
