Octane Film Cars is looking for vintage American cars, vans and trucks from approximately 1960 to 1977 to rent for a movie that is set in and around Detroit in 1977. Vehicles need not be in pristine condition, but running and driving vehicles preferred. In the realm of cars, we're looking more for sedans, wagons and big coupes more than Vettes and Camaros, and in terms of trucks we're looking for ordinary vans, pickups, stepvans and box trucks, not customs. No customs considered, unfortunately.
Shoot takes place in Greenwich, CT (standing in for wealthy Detroit suburbs) after February 1st. Some cars will be static, others will be driven. Owners would be fully insured for the stated value of their car and all transportation costs would be paid, in addition to a fee -- variable dependent by length/type of use. Owners can in some but not all instances, get paid something for driving their car as an extra.

We will post the pictures of your vehicle to our company's site, http://www.octanefilmcars.com , and let owners know if the producers are interested in using their vehicle. We can also present to the owner offers for any subsequent film, television or advertising shoots.
