I have a 96 F250 can I swap a 02 solid axle in my 96?

Not directly. You'll need to swap both the front and rear axles to keep the same bolt pattern. Your '96 uses an 8x6.5" bolt pattern while the Super Duties use an 8x170mm bolt pattern. I believe the spring perches would need to be moved on the axle to make them bolt onto the existing leaf springs.
You'll also be switching from standard wheel bearings to unitized wheel bearings, which if you look around the Super Duty forums, guys are buying conversion kits to go back to a standard spindle and wheel bearing.
The easiest solution will be to find a Dana 60 axle from our generation of truck which is a bolt in operation. If you really want to go with Super Duty axles, do a search; I can't find it right now, but a few guys have successfully swapped in Super Duty axles with coil springs and radius arms.
