It'll be LOUD... simple as that, and I mean everywhere.. outside the truck and inside the truck.

That's going to be ungodly loud. You're going to hate it every time you have to drive it. Go with something like a Flowmaster 50 series, or a Dynomax Super Turbo. They will sound nice at idle and around town, but if you get on it, it'll have a nice roar.

Make sure you aim the exhaust out from under the cab or bed whick ever way you run it. I had mine dumping under the bed before the axle. That was obnoxiouly loud in the cab. I routed it out before the rear tire and its a lot quieter in the cab and still has a sexy roar out side.

I've got a cherry bomb 87518 on my truck, Flowmaster makes a universal tail pipe kit to go over the axle. Check my signature for the video on how it sounds floored, and regular 35-45mph drive by, rev, and idle. I made the video a few months back with a bad belt tensioner so... Ignore the belt squeak! It's all 3" after the cat.

Noise-wise, it's fine. It's better than straight piped, that's for sure, it idles quiet enough that sitting in traffic won't make you want to tear your ears off. Highway cruising is... for me it's ok. Your mileage may vary on that.

Also, it's NOT a cop magnet like my old rusted out muffler was...

I should also mention it has some chrome shorty headers, and the stock y-pipe with cat.

Put it back in, from what I've read, it doesn't matter where, mine is currently on only one bank, runs ok.
