I quite like the concept and hope it makes it to production. One flaw is the pics make those seats look like a torture chamber. No doubt they will be comfortable in the end, but the pictures sure make it look otherwise.

That thing is superbadass and I want one! Agreed w/the seats, also I don't care for the "ATLAS" across the leading edge of the hood. I guess we will have to wait and see

I read some where that the speculation was that the engine line up in 2015 would be EB2.7, 3.7, 5.0, EB3.5. I think Ford hedged their bets with the EB in the current trucks by offering the 6.2. With the overwhelming success with the current EB I would imagine that offering will go away.

I love the interior of that truck. Every concept I've ever seen is the highest model.

03 SVT...Thanks for your explanation on how these concept vehicles are built. It would be a cool idea producing a documentary showing the building of such a concept vehicle. Humans are fascinated with mobility and autos.

I hope Ford takes precedence here and produces the Atlas concept to the T of what we're seeing today, a real truck. Go for it Ford and make a bold statement.

There are some cool design components I really like....but over-all, tacky for a production vehicle...if I wanted something like that i would go back in history to the datsun 620 series pick-ups.

Ford is still using the fugly nose design with what looks like stick-on plastic parts. Still looks like they are going for the nosebleed high altitude stance. The tailgate carry bracket is good. How about an adjustable arm rest.

Liked the exterior a lot. Interior needs "softening"....some plush features. Where is the F-150 badge?.....nice truck overall.

I really like the look of the Atlas Concept.....this looks more like real truck than other concepts I have seen....Glad that Ford is going to have duel exhaust with chrome tips is the concept is a clue..about time.......Just hope Ford keeps V8 s non ecoboost in trucks...having all V6s engines...with all the complicated parts is a issue with me....jury is still out on reliablity...hope it is good...and currently the spread in fuel miliage from 5.0 V8 and 3.5 Ecoboost is only one mph better in 4 wheel drive...not enough for me!.....

Just wonder if Ford will do what they are doing with the big Transit Work Van and go 'frameless"....for a version...vans usually haul more weight on a dailly basis than light duty pickups....

Lol gotta love Truck Trend's coverage of the Atlas:

With the Atlas Concept, Ford essentially looked over at GM's new production-ready Silverado and Sierra, shrugged, and then just completely destroyed their day.

While this is being displayed and talked about today as a concept truck, there is a better than average chance that this truck IS the 2015 F 150.

The Ford Atlas Concept Is The 2015 F-150

Why The 2015 Ford F-150 Concept Is More Important Than The Corvette

I like the exterior as well and could stand the interior to be toned down a bit but I understand the need for bling (wtf...blue lights??)

I really hope they put the transit diesel in as one of the engine options.

My sources (generally fairly reliable) tell me that this is in fact a pre-production 2015 F150, although built on the current frame. (with many 'just-for-show' touches). The ATLAS name is just for the concept vehicle. This truck may go into production this fall (2013), and there mey be no 2014 F150. This would be consistent with Ford's "5-year plan" where all models are revised every 5 years. ('04-'08, '09-'13...)...we'll have to wait and see. I like the looks of the 'Atlas', except for the Tundra-like rear door windows.

The only thing I don't like about the concept are the stacked dual headlights. Makes it look way too similar to an ugly Chevy. Other than that, it looks BOSS.
