Years ago I had a 1977 with a lighted visor. I just purchased a 1978, and I would like to add one to this truck. I wanted to see what brands all of you are running and how you like them.

Lund use to make them, I believe they are hard to locate, maybe ebay? IMO they are a cab rust magnet, I have seen alot of A pillar and roof/drip rail issues caused by them.

I think visors simply have a bad reputation cuz manufacturers (like Lund) provided crummy instructions and hardware or owners installed them dimestore hardware and without waterproofing the holes. I mean, unlike today, back then few could obtain/install threaded inserts (aka "rivnuts") and/or use high quality caulks and sealants.
